SessKag Series: Control, Part 120 (Explicit)

This entry is part 120 of 227 in the series Control [Complete]

“Your cock’s bruising me,” Kagome said, though she wasn’t really complaining.

Sesshoumaru ignored her pointedly all the same.

After a moment, she asked him, “Do you ever fantasize like that on your own, about those sorts of things?”

Kagome held herself back from adding ‘with me.’ And so she didn’t know how to interpret his answer when he curled his claws into her shoulder and replied, “Constantly.”

Regardless, she supposed that she could interpret his responses however she liked. It was undeniably erotic to her, to imagine that behind that cold façade of his, he was boiling with suppressed passion, and that she was the source. All she knew for certain was that she wanted to hear him speak to her as if she was.

“Talk to me like you love me,” she said.

Sesshoumaru was silent. So woodenly so that Kagome wondered if what she’d asked was simply beyond him.

Shaking it off, she tried again, “Talk to me like you own me.”

Again there was silence. Annoyed, and starting to get a little flustered, she began to pull away from him altogether.

“Or, you know,” she groused, “you could just sit there and not say anything—”

“Be quiet,” Sesshoumaru growled, clasping her so suddenly by the jaw that Kagome had no choice. “You talk too much.” Her heart began to pound as his claws scraped down her throat. “That is one of your faults. If you wish to know something useful, I pay very little heed to what you say. Most of it is nonsense.”

Anger ripped through her. She wanted to retort that he had his own fair share of faults—but his palm clamped to her jugular, and she could do little more than whimper in vain. Only after she’d fallen completely silent did his hand descend, to plunge beneath the collar of her robe and seize at her naked breast. Kagome gasped mutely in shock and pain, as his youki rushed in to gag her.

“Make no mistake, little sister—I do this not because you are so foolish that you need reminding,” he said with dark derision. Neglecting the hard, peaked center, he squeezed her soft flesh ruthlessly from the base. “I do this because I want to. That is all that matters. What you desire is inconsequential. Your dreams are illusions; your choices are only what I grant you. There is no part of you I cannot bend to my purpose.” Between the stony cage of his fingers, her breast swelled desperately, ribbed and reshaped by the force of his grasp. “That I cannot mold to suit my ends.”

Releasing her tender, battered flesh, his hand eased down her belly, shoving its way past the sash of her robe to grip her above the womb. As her stomach flinched, he crushed her all the tighter to him, his claws chafing the delicate skin at the edge of her mound.

“There is no part of you beyond my reach. There has never been.” Kagome’s back arched brutally as she half-willed, half-dreaded for his hand to slide down a little farther. But Sesshoumaru remained utterly still, his cock a seething pillar at her back. “My restraint is all that keeps you pure and intact.” And now his claws were at her neck again, constricting her windpipe and cutting into the junction of her shoulder and throat. “At any time I might choose to abandon it. At any time I might break you, if that is what I decide. Such is your fate, and my prerogative to impose.”

Kagome’s vision swam, stars winking before her eyes. She couldn’t breathe—she couldn’t think. Blood pounded in her ears, swelled voluptuously in her veins. Her thighs cramped, wracked with tension.

And beneath them was that spreading wetness that even for all her furious clenching she couldn’t contain. It was soaking through the bottom of her yukata like the gush of an open wound.

“Now, woman,” he pronounced with icy contempt, “you may speak, if you must.”

Even after he released her—both from his iron hold and from the spell of submission he’d held her under—she continued to hemorrhage with it, this flood of loathsome, irrepressible need.

“…Sesshoumaru,” she rasped.

“What,” he bit out, just as gruffly.

“Touch me again.”

  1. WHAT THE FUCK I AM SCREAMING THIS IS GOD TIER HOW DO YOU DO THIS?!?!?!?!

First off, you’ve mentioned several times that this is “an unpopular characterization” of Kagome, which baffles me, because given the backstory with her grief and her trauma, OF COURSE she’s like this. The fascinating thing about Kagome in canon is that she does have that temper, that jealousy, that seed of hatefulness that she works so hard to repress… and even a certain savagery. I LOVE seeing how those qualities might develop and strengthen in her through her grief, her depression, and her alienation… and how those “negative” qualities end up giving her the strength and fire to fight the battles both emotional and supernatural only she can fight… and also how all of those things are balanced against her very greatest strength, which is her tremendous capacity for love. It fascinates me how she refuses to abandon Sesshoumaru, because even though she hates him and is repulsed by him, and even aside from her intense attraction to him, she also LOVES him and so will never give up on him, no matter how much that chafes her and breaks her down.

(On another note, something else I really appreciate about your work is that each fic has a subtly different development of the characters— taking their core traits and spinning them out into different possible directions— and also has such fresh and intriguing scenarios for Kagome and Sesshoumaru to fall together— I LOVE your work 💚💚💚)

It’s fascinating how much of this scene is about power— maybe that should have been an obvious theme earlier, ha— but what really intrigues me is that while in the past, Kagome took power from Sesshoumaru, here what finally GETS her is yielding that power— maybe it’s an issue of her always having to be the one who shoulders the hardest burdens from such a young age, and perhaps this is actually a continuation of their conversation from a few chapters ago, when Sesshoumaru suggested to her that maybe she doesn’t want responsibility (/power). (I mean, of course she does, but it’s fascinating how the idea of YIELDING for a little bit is enough for Sesshoumaru to slip past her armor.)

As per usual, utterly brilliant. Thank you for writing!!!!

    1. Waaahh! Thank you so much <3 <3 <3

" The fascinating thing about Kagome in canon is that she does have that temper, that jealousy, that seed of hatefulness that she works so hard to repress… and even a certain savagery. " - I could not agree more! I think the issue I worry about is honestly more of a fandom thing. It seems that in the majority of fics - and of course there's absolutely nothing wrong with this - Kagome is portrayed most often as an almost saint-like figure. Just totally pure and blameless and selfless. I get it: we all love her 🙂 but what I've seen is that more realistic portrayals of her tend to be unpalatable to a lot of folks. Now, that's not ever gonna change how I decide to write her, but I guess I'm just being hyper-conscious of it or something? lol

With that being said, I seriously can't thank you enough for your support of my various characterizations!! <3 I've probably mentioned this before, but one of the things I love most about Sess & Kagome both is that they are multi-faceted characters, and through my stories I like to experiment with how those different facets might come more into light under various scenarios 😉

Thanks again for all the lovely feedback! You're the best <3

  2. Damn! Kagome really is a natural switch isn’t she? Talking to her like he owns her seems to come pretty naturally, but I can’t understand why she would want him to talk to her like he loves her. I know she thinks he’s all she has left, but if she wants to live in a fantasy why not go to Kohaku? He certainly believes himself in love with her on some level. Perhaps she cleaves to Sesshoumaru because she knows he can never really give her what she needs? She is safe from him, in a strange way. Maybe it doesn’t feel like betrayal of Inuyasha’s memory when it is all “play-acting”? This chapter was delicious, Char!

    1. Yay so glad you enjoyed the chapter, Alex!! Love hearing your theories – they get me fired up! Lol

  3. Kagome’s own BEAST is getting ready to unleash on Sesshoumaru 🤣 I’m here for it!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Sesshoumaru was never ready!
