Okay so real life has blown up for real. BUT I am so close with updates for both Transgressions and The Pact – bear with me y’all! XD

I’m thinking, like, seriously, y’all are gonna like this next chapter of The Pact. (squee) But in total disclosure, I’m so incredibly encouraged by all the support you guys have given me for this story! I know it’s not exactly PC and all, with it being basically a tale of adultery – but you guys have been amazing & I’ve been super inspired to continue this story! So thanks so much for that 🙂 <3

In other news, for those of you who enjoy a good manga, I’ve been re-reading a personal fav of mine – Midnight Secretary. Brief synopsis: The female protagonist, who is super-hardworking and relatable imo, becomes the secretary of a smoking-hot, yet very cool, aloof and domineering vampire. I feel like it strikes the perfect balance between submission and female assertiveness. Not to mention, it’s suuuuper smutty 😉

So hope y’all will go check it out if you haven’t already! Not sure if it’s been adapted into an anime – I should check on that, really…But for real, it’s got some hella awesome tension and the male lead is fucking sexy. So check it out if you’ve got the inkling!

Anyways, I’m drunk once again, so time to write in the heat of the moment and publish tomorrow! <3 Forgive me, forgive me…y’all got me hyped on The Pact though – just to reiterate XD

  1. Midnight Secretary is so good! Ohmi Tomu is such a good storyteller – and writer of smut lol. If you haven’t checked out his other work, I definitely recommend his Kindan no Koi series.

    Also! Definitely looking forward to future installments to The Pact and, of course, Transgressions. Everything is getting so goooood!! Keep up the awesome work!

  2. I’m really enjoying The Pact. I wasn’t expecting to because, while I have no problem with people in abusive relationships committing adultery (I believe when a person abuses their partner they have broken the vows inherent in a committed, married or not, relationship and thus the victim of abuse has no further obligation to remain faithful), I’m not particularly enamored with characters who decieve themselves about their motivations for the choices they make. So on that basis I find Kagome a bit annoying in this story. But, Sesshoumaru makes up for it. And their chemistry is amazing.

    This is a slightly different take on the cheating fic. Though I’ve only read two others, and both had depicted Sesshomaru the same way you did (caring about Kagome and using her weakness to his advantage), everyone else was shown to be more moral. I like your adaptation. It’s fun.

    Now I’m super excited for the next chapters, but I’m still paranoid about the direction you’re going in. Everything isn’t going to be happy, I know that much. 😫

  6. lmao i love this personal posts. especially when they come with recs! i went and read midnight secretary in one go. i loved it, it was a funny and sweet read! it reminded me of how much i miss the secretary series!! srsly im a sucker for big boss/secretary plots, its embarassing.

    you have to bring more recs of manga or fics!! im need some new stuff <3
