Mardi Lulz

Aye aye, Cap’n

Good times in the Big Easy this past weekend. Only on Bourbon Street will you see ‘street preachers’ carrying around light-up dildos and people throwing entire cans of Pringles down from the balconies. I’m still hungover, but damn is it great to be back in the South again.

That said, I’m traveling for work this week, so doubt I’ll get anything posted. C’est la vie, y’all—But trust me, it’ll be worth the wait 😉

‘Til next time…

  1. I miss New Orleans! I’m in New England now, but I grew up in Texas and my husband is from Mississippi and we honeymooned in Nola. Seemed like time stopped there more than any other place I’ve been in the south. The people and food were amazing! (Best vacation meals ever, ever, ever!) Never been to Mardi Gras but I think I’m too old now lol. I’d be ready for bed by 11 haha. Looks and sounds like you had a blast!!

    1. That’s so cool! I lived in Texas for a little while myself 🙂 After years of living way down in Florida, it’s so nice to be within an easy drive of New Orleans again! Like you said, the food and people are so amazing – always well worth the visit just to take it all in 🙂

Mardi Gras was really fun, and definitely more of a bucket item for the boyfriend and I as it’s really not our kinda scene. But we certainly enjoyed the experience!!
