A Week of Transgressions

OMG, I’m just so blown away right now, and seeing as how we’re coming up on the end of week 1 of the Daily Trangressions project, I just had to post.

First off, thank you all SO much for following along with the Daily Transgressions series! I was super excited when I came up with the idea, but honestly I wondered how well it would be received. I mean, Transgressions had been abandoned for years, and now I’m only sharing it piece by piece as I write it.

But not only have you guys read & liked the posts, you’ve given me such awesome feedback as well! Seriously, I don’t know what to say. 🙂

Life doesn’t always deal us an easy hand. Trust me, the last thing I ever wanted to do back in 2014 was abandon my fics, but the depression set in like a motherfucker and for years I just wasn’t able to write, as much as I still wanted to. But now, on the other side, I’m so incredibly happy to be writing again and to be sharing my works with you all!

One of my biggest fears when I came back from hiatus was that the people who had enjoyed Trangressions years ago wouldn’t be around on Dokuga or FF.net, or just wouldn’t care anymore. Not that I could blame them. Four years is a long-ass time to wait. But every time someone tells me that they’re excited to be reading updates again, I feel so elated!

For those of you who have stuck with me through the years, I seriously can’t thank you enough. And for those of you who are just discovering my fanfics, thanks for stopping by & for following along with the updates! Hope you’re getting your daily fix. 😉

Anyway, I know I’m kinda rambling at this point, but I just feel so thrilled & so grateful! Writing is my ultimate joy in life, and nothing makes me happier than knowing people are enjoying my stories. 🙂

Thanks again & enjoy the rest of the series! I’ve already written most of tomorrow’s update, which is gonna be a good bit longer. 😉

Can’t wait to share it!

  1. yesss girl so happy to read you are happy with how everything is going!! and so happy that you could come back to writing, since it means so much to you.

the best thing that can happen to us readers is iconic authors coming back to life. the other is authors that update regularly or that are around, and you are both! so its only fair that you get good feedback! even more bc your updates are 10/10. im sure that from now on the numbers of readers will only increase.

its funny how now that im an ADULT im into ff more than when i was a teenager…….. hopefully im not the only one here lol.

lots of love!! have a good weekend!! guess ill read you tomorrow (so happy for the longer update!)

    1. omg i’m right there with you! i’m SO much more into fanfiction now than i ever was! maybe having some more real life experience helps me appreciate it even more? idk, but it’s hella fun 🙂

and aww, i’m blushing! 😀 i seriously can’t thank you enough for your kind words & for your support! i, too, would love to see the return of some of the FF greats (Resmiranda, I’m looking at YOU) lol

anyways, thanks so much for sharing – as always!! <3 have an awesome weekend, girl! 🙂

  2. I am an original fan. So, I am truly happy that you have continued this story. I agree with Junot, when the authors of GREAT stories come back, it is a simple pleasure for fans like us. Your updates are amazing and I love that I can take time out every day to read your story.

You know… growing up we always used our imaginations. In the times we live in now, instead of going to social media, I still like to read and use my imagination. You have no need to worry about your die-hard fans coming back to read! We will always be here because just like you, we want to see the story finish. 🙂
I can’t wait to see what your life experiences bring to the story! Talk to you tomorrow in the comments lol!

    1. thank you so, so much, dear! <3 i'm honored that you've continued to be a fan of my works through the years!

and i couldn't agree more about the joy of reading and using your imagination - humans are dreamers & innovators, and while it's easy to binge on social media, it feels kind of like junk food for the brain. to be honest, i've more or less cut out social media from my life for the past 5 years or so. although i have been considering linking a twitter account to this blog, just so i could tweet when there's updates or something. but i dunno...

anyways, thanks so much for sharing & for your amazing words! hope you enjoy the stories to come! 🙂 <3
